Most dash mounts are all plastic with a weak magnet. The Full Lock Dash Mount Kit is a 6061 aluminum pedestal base and a mounting face packed with 18 N52 neodymium magnets — over 4 lbs of hold.
It stays put on rough pavement. The 17 mm ball fits common ball-and-socket heads if you already run that system.
The extra 3M pad is in the box for a second install or a cleaner dash later.
